TI F2812

This is my very first time to use DSP for anything. I am going to be usin the TMS320F2812 for Induction Machine motion control. Does anyone have materials on where and how to start? Thanks in advance.

Texas Instruments provides everything you may need. Download the manuals for all the peripherals, DSP/BIOS, application notes, go through Code Composer's Studio tutorials, etc. For DSP issues in particular, try posting in comp.dsp.

Un bel giorno Mavmass digitò:

If by "induction machine" you mean a three-phase asynchronous motor, TI has a specific control library for it (search ACI3_4), but I've found it almost impossible to tune. After some days of pain, I switched back to the basics (no PID, no fancy space vector control, just six PWMs generating three sinusoidal signals with the third harmonic added) and everything worked a lot better.
