Hmm, I'm using firebird and all I see are the company name and its mirror image and above and to the right a pair of odd boxes. No menu, no links nada.

I see the same in Opera either under Linux or windoze. The answers are simple and boring: and

. No better way to deliver the message "we don't need your money, thank you very much" :)

The same for another European PCB maker -- "everything will be OK if you use IE 5.5+". Sorry, I will not.

Just my 2 pence.

When will these firms learn that insistence on Javascript and loading of binary images, together with complex pages and tables that require long rendering time, are total turn-offs. A page should be displaying all the essentials within a few seconds.

Strangely enough I do. Usually I don't unless I know I'm going to need it. On the other hand when I click on on of the malformed images I get a complaint about needing a java-vm. This thing needs java just to provide a link off the main page? They have GOT to be kidding.

Oh for anyone stepping in to the middle of this the link is

Prices are attractive, especially for multilayer boards.

Thanks, I'm on crack, I should have read the rest of this thread before posting. I've been looking around for a cheaper vendor for my prototypes. I'm looking at custompcb.com right now. I use Advanced Circuits for production, but they're quite expensive for prototypes. Excellent service, though, which is what has kept me coming back....

I totally agree with you - good designed website is a must for good company nowadays. I personally usually skip such websites, however that one was referenced from another one in Russia, a good one ;) with good prices.

So, I already have had positive expectations. BTW, at the end I've got tired to figure out what lyers I have to produce from Eagle in Gerber274, what drill sizes are supported and ordered from

- at least no hassles with layers and formats - they accepted files directly from Eagle.

myropcb does their work in China. With the shipping you can expect nearly any work to take almost 3 weeks, not so good for protos. Their contact is in Canada. I discussed the customs and duty issues with them and it is potluck as far as I can tell. They said some shipments require duty and some don't.
