Apparently not.
Where in this site is the specification for the Sony Memory Stick format, which is what I assume the OP is seeking?
Actaully the SD card ('memory card spec') is not public domain and is givne by the SD group (Matsushita, SanDisk and Toshiba) via a NDA
Well I would have taken "memory stick" to be any usb based flash storage device such as a pen-drive. If that is the case then a knowledge of how the mass storage interface works can be found at that link and the OP should be able to get info in what was happening.
If he does indeed mean the Sony memory stick then, as another respondant rightly says, the OP will have to get friendly with Sony.
Perhaps the OP should have been a bit more detailed in their question.
Baffling!!! Now, just what on earth does the Secure Digital card spec have to do with the SONY MEMORY STICK spec? The two formats are in no way related.
Am I living in a year of perpetual April 1?
If the question is refering to the USB based flash storage devices, such as pen-drives, I believe that the USB mass storage class specification defines what interface protocols are to be used. The interfaces used has evolved over time, but I believe that it has finally been settled on a varient of the SCSI command set and the spec says that all new devices shall use this command set.
Sorry for being so vague, but it has been a while since I looked this information up. In any case, the specifications are readilly available in the public domain and should be easy to find.
