LCD build party

My wife (the weather junkie) has declared tomorrow as a "too hot to have people passing out in the garage" day. We will be setting up inside, with the air conditioning. When you get here just come to the front door.

Time is still 6-8PM - it should take about 30+/- 10 min to assemble your board and test it, so you don't need to rush to get here right at 6.

Will this be like the last time with the French maid outfits and the fireworks? I hope the neighbors are out of town this time.

Dennis said they would be playing "spin the capacitor" after the boards are assembled, as he's out of bottles.

Yes - the old write a note when you are still in the newsgroup and notice it right after hitting send trick :-). Sorry about that.

Our local Linux group designed an interface board to connect a character LCD to the printer port. A couple of headers for interconnect, a contrast pot and a current limit resistor for the backlight. This was a meeting to help the less experienced members assemble their kit and test it.
