Experiences with NXPs ISP1564 and/or NECs uPD720102 USB <-> PCI parts?

Both seem to be available - stocked at Digikey (NXP) and Avnet (NEC). The NEC has 3 USB ports in a 120 tqfp or something - 0.4mm pitch, a bit of a pain but endurable. The NXP has 2 ports in a familiar tqfp 100 (0.5mm pitch).

Any experiences with these? I am obviously not familiar with either and at this stage I just want to make sure there are no nasty surprises when I start to write drivers etc.

Seems I'll have to settle for a PCI connectable hi-speed USB chip which slows the PCI clock to 33 MHz. I can live with that but it would be nice if I could avoid it - the rest of the parts are 66 MHz capable, anyone knows of any other chip which will do similarly but at 66 MHz PCI?

Thanks for all the feedback,

Dimiter
