Just wondering if anyone out there has had real world experience implementing a soft-core processor in a commercial product?
I'd be interested in finding out:
1) Your overall impression of the experience 2) Your impression of the build environment/tools 3) Which soft-core? Which FPGA vendor? 4) Was it easy to setup and get started? 5) Were there unexpected costs? Any snags/gotchas? 6) Was it a success in the end? 7) Would you do it again?Thanks very much, PretzelX.
