Beagle Low Cost Cases

I was looking at some of the popular project boards and cases for them. I see Arduino has boxes as cheap as $13 while the only case I can find for the Beagle boards is $30. I think the Beagle line is more of what I am looking for. I'd like to find something a bit cheaper though. Anyone know of other cases for the Beagle boards, especially the Beaglebone?

Cases are always expensive. Good looking, rugged cases are even more so. Just get used to the idea that the case + label + knobs can be half or more of the total BOM cost -- or get way clever about how you package things.

When I was more active as a radio hobbyist, I would buy up old CB radios, modems, and other bits of obsolete electronics just for the cases, which I would then re-purpose for my own needs.

I'd also keep an eye on the surplus vendors for good deals.

do you need a case that will fit the just board or one that fits a board and a board on top?

I would prefer a case to fit a CPU board with a cape expansion board as well. But I'm not sure what cape boards will be available. I think they are designed to stack like PC/104 so it may be useful to have more than one cape board. To accommodate any cape board will require the case to have appropriate cut outs for the connectors.
