Hi

Someone asked me to help him with AT91RM9200 and AT91RM9200-EK kit. I have gnu toolchain with gcc "3.4.3". I plan that we will run programs directly on that processor - without any kind of operating systems (linux or winCE). I'm looking for project samples for this board. Are there in the internet available any project free samples? I need informations about memory addressing - where in memory can be placed a programm, and how could I inform toolchain where I want to place executable code (which options should I use).

Sorry for my english.

Hi. I am facing the same issues. The files on the atmel site are designed for programming the flash throug a hardware device such as MultiIce or Slingshot. Is there a way to do i directly through the serial cable ? Zanxy, did you find proper makefiles to use with GCC ? The samples o atmel website include project files for proprietary softwares but n makefile.

Thanks Jérôme

If you set the boot jumper on the EK to "INT" You can download code using Hyperterminal/X-modem.

Thanks very much.

I found a way already. Two ways actually. My jumper is set on EXT, and use the Uboot provided by atmel. It allows me to program by either th serial cable (with the loadb command and kermit protocol fro hyperterminal) or the ethernet cable (with tftp), which is faster.

BTW, I use the "comp.arch.embedded web interface" to post here but understand it is a "mail-based newsgroup". how can I subscribe ? searche for comp.arch.embedded in yahoo groups. didn't find. and none of th groups at the "discussion groups" link seems to correspond to this one.

thx Jérôme
