ASM Help

I am trying to convert some asm to c. Learning asm as I go...

LINIT: .DB 38H ; .DB 0CH ; .DB 06H ; LSIZZ .EQU $-LINIT ;

My question what is the LSOZZ equal?

LSOZZ is undefined, it's not used here. Next question.

LSIZZ is 3 because $ means the "address of here", and there are three bytes between LSIZZ and LINIT. Whereas LZOZZ is a typo, I hope.
