Błąd. Tyratron jak najbardziej ma podgrzewaną katodę. Podobną lampą z zimną katodą jest ignitron - na znacznie większe zresztą moce. Posiada on ciekłą katodę rtęciową.

ZTCW prawie zawsze pojęcie 'zimna katoda' właśnie to oznacza.
