Will a cellphone work underground?

Nope. In the old days every once in a while someone got exhumed for whatever reason and they found scratch marks inside the coffin indicating that they buried someone who was unconscious or in a coma.

So they started leaving a hole in the casket with a string attached to a bell so if someone wakes up not dead they can ring the bell get let out.
