Electric Motors by Jim Cox. Electric Motors in the Home Workshop by Jim Cox Electric Motors and Control Techniques by Irving M. Gottlieb. The last book mentioned starts out simple but gets complex. A good book though. I have all 3 books and have used info from all 3 to choose, install, and repair various motors. Ac, DC, Steppers, etc. Eric
