rpm of a cordless drill motor?

What might be the typical rpm of a cordless drill motor?

Or what is the typical gear ratio?

Some single speed spin up to about 700 rpm at the chuck. Dual speed usually go up to about 400 and 1400 rpm at the chuck.

Thanks.

I am calculating it at somewhere around 9000 rpm, but I'm hoping that's not true.

It's likely to be something like that, at least three or four thousand RPM unloaded. All hand held drills are geared down between 5:1 and 10:1, some even more.

10,000 to 16,000 rpms.

I think you'll find it to be more like no more than 400 on torque mode and maybe 900 or so on speed mode at the chuck..
