Plastica dei chip

Di che tipo di plastica sono coperti i chip? Secondo voi la usano nelle stampanti 3D? Perche' vorrei far fare un perno del dannato tritatutto per cucinare che si rompe come niente, mi da fastidio buttarlo, il motore e' potente e usato pochissimo... ciao e grazie.
