Is there any analog filter topology (op amp) which allows easy switching between a resonant 4 pole low pass and resonant 2 pole high pass?
No specific app in mind...just like, a theoretical question

AFAIK SV filters are two pole... you've got to cascade them to get more.

State variable filters produce both LP and HP outputs, so two sections of SVF and a mux would do it.
