They did say it was a refurbished "$50" phone, though.
Newegg sells some "$50 list" unlocked phones for $25, which is probably closer to the real value of a newly manufactured low-end cell phone (though there may still be some recycling of subsidized "plan" cell phones going on, based on the small print.
