Our corrupt Justice Dept.

A justice dept employee call Rep. Issa, "trying to orchestrate the leak of committee documents related to the ongoing IRS investigation", he thought he had called Rep Cummings.

Then this little spin...

Attorney General Eric Holder?s communications director is being accused of calling the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee?s Republican staff and asking for help spinning a story. The twist? The GOP staff alleges that Holder?s spokesman thought he was talking to the Democrats.

It's happening because we, as a country, have become phenomenally ignorant...

I saw an editorial a few days ago arguing that we are a nation afflicted with ADD.

But, Hey! It'll all be fixed with that cheap labor pouring across our southern border. ...Jim Thompson

You really have to try hard to do that. And have to have a poker face to claim it's difficult to recover...

In a patent issue a few years back my patent attorney wanted all my E-mails concerning a certain client all the way back to 2001.

A couple of clicks and I have transferred copies to a separate directory, zipped them up and still had to burn a DVD, there were so many ;-) ...Jim Thompson

You can easily have thousands of pages of scanned documents in a patent case. The other side doesn't give you stuff in softcopy because (a) official reason: it's too easily modified, and (b) real reason: it's not in their interest to make your life easier.

Just your typical custom chip design... lots of back-and-forth setting specifications, then tons of PDF's showing simulations under all imaginable conditions. ...Jim Thompson
