released showed that Trump paid roughly $35M on $150M in income. Not exactly zero. He doesn't want to release his tax returns because the lefties will just cry about how "unfair" it is for one person to make that much money. "
No, he is being audited. I do not know for what years but you can't give ou t any information. Neither can the IRS. If they reveal the details of an on going investigation they pay the person being investigate $100,000 fine FOR EACH OCCURRENCE.
I am not sure exactly what the difference is when congress demands it, but they are pretty sure not suppose to reveal any details. they are soooo f*ck ing stupid, they are looking for payments made to Trump from Russia but act ually if they are still looking for the collusion that never happened they should be looking at what he paid TO Russia. Not from.
They seem to have forgot "follow the money" but that is understandable with all the democrat chicanery going on.
Oh, that's so silly: food, clothing, shelter all existed for millenia during which mines and petrochemicals were unavailable. Those mines and stinky stuffs aren't necessities of life.
A glass of water, on the other hand, is very nice. It doesn't take much in the way of mining to make nice bit of glassware.
Civilizations are composed of many things, but at the core it's the cooperation of people that makes it work. The Trump era of non-cooperation (within his administration, and in his dealings with other powers) simply does NOT qualify as a bright spot in our history. You cannot hold up modern conveniences and proclaim their primacy, and ignore the long-term side effects.
Climate change, microplastics killing sealife, air and water pollution, are worthy challenges to take up. Become a real member of civilization, cooperate on a few of those issues, internationally.
But, you'll have to do it directly: our proxy for foreign relations is the Donald, and he's not going to help. He's not a real member of civilization. Rather, he's a tribe of one.
Odd that you would point to a number. I was looking for cooperation. You know, teamwork? Treaties? Breaking NAFTA, breaking the Iran deal, breaking the Paris accords, ditching the Trans-Pacific Partnership, turning over top advisors, trade wars, cancelling federal government for five weeks... that's what I see.
55% of cooperation is a failing grade for any leader
An improbable claim, and Trump doesn't seem to be the kind of bull that the US-China shop needs.
Except that Ramussen finds a lot more approval for him than anybody else, and the highest approval rating for him I could find on the Ramussen web-site was 53% on the 9th April this year.
Nate Silver puts his approval rating at 41.8% which is remarkably low, comparable with Ronald Reagan after his senile dementia has started to show.
Why not find out? May's is diabolically bad - about 24%
out any information. Neither can the IRS. If they reveal the details of an ongoing investigation they pay the person being investigate $100,000 fine F OR EACH OCCURRENCE.
Actually the law says that if CONGRESS requests anyone's returns, the IRS has to hand them over.

th all the democrat chicanery going on.
Looking at his taxes would seem to be a good example of trying to follow th e money. For example, if Trump has loans from some offshore corp that's Russian money, the deduction for interest would show up on a Trump related tax return, somewhere.
But there is an even better reason that Congress deserves to see his return s. They need to help Trump. Trump has been saying for 3 years now that he's under audit. He's said that the IRS audits him almost every year. That sure sounds like IRS abuse of a taxpayer, why it could be the "deep state" persecuting Trump. Congress should see why this constant audit abuse is happening. Of course the truth very likely is that Trump is just lying, as usual. But he's smearing the IRS, just like he lied and smeared out intel agencies when he said that Russia never meddled in the election. He vilified our intel agencies, lied, sided with Putin and Russia over America. I believe he's doing the same thing with lies about IRS. Congress will likely find out and expose it, which is clearly what Trump deserves.
The problem with that analogy is that it's a very bad one. What's left of the china shop? Is it better off or worse off after the bull is done? And in the case of Trump, you sure do have a list there of some of what he's broken. You can add in Obamacare, he's killing that too. And NATO, he's continually undermining that. But what has he replaced any of it with? Nothing. The US is very much like that busted down china shop, maybe it's a good analogy after all.
Sure, but I am pretty sure if they reveal the info therein to anyone but certain investigators they become subrogated for the fines. If they put it on the news then that is $100,000 per Citizen, because all can watch the news.
Also bear in mind that all the business tax records are already public as long as they are incorporated.
