OT: Sloman's Socialist Utopia

Cursitor Doom believes everything he reads in the Daily Express.

As they say in the article, this is just a re-run of an article that they f irst ran in February.

They say the problems in Sweden coincide with the immigrant crisis, but the y don't provide any evidence to suggest that the immigrants are contributin g to it.

As I said back in February, every city has its rough areas, where the polic e patrol in pairs. If the Swedish government isn't paying it's police enoug h, or not hiring enough of them, police morale can be poor, and the police trade union will make as much of that decline in morale as they can.

Cursitor Doom is dumb enough to take the Daily Express seriously. If the re port is picked up by a quality newspaper, with less of an interest keeping right-wing lunatics titillated by the kind of "news" stories they love to r ead, it might be worth some attention, but as it is, it is just political p orn, designed to give the likes of Cursitor Doom a rush of blood to an orga n that doesn't get used all that often.

It would be easy enough to write off these horrific stories if the Express were the only source for them. But that is not the case at all. Here's a report from your own country's 60 Minutes programme and if you care to look down the right hand side of the page you will see umpteen similar reports from citizen journalists all spilling the beans the MSM won't touch on the terrible effects mass immigration has had on this previously civilised nation:

You must really be sick in the head to write that comment. I *want* to believe that immigrants are raping and murdering native Swedes?? What a simply vile individual you are.

I persisted with it long enough to see a right-wing activist telling the

60 Minute reporter of some alleged sharp practice amongst immigrants exploiting Sweden's welfare provisions.

Perhaps there were "terrible effects" buried deeper in the report, but the likeliest reason the main stream media hasn't picked up these reports is that they know a beat-up when they see one.

You are a more gullible sucker than the average reporter - though perhaps no more gullible than the average Daily Express reporter, who does have to collect enough shocking allegations every day to keep their readers titillated.

It's a lot easier to find sensational reports if you don't have to spend time carefully checking them out for accuracy and completeness. It's even easier if the local politicians invent a few for you.

Of course you want to believe stuff like that. It makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and so very proud to be English, so different from that immigrant scum.

The vileness is all yours. The correct term for the people involved is actually refugee, rather than immigrant. And they'd much prefer to be non-immigrants, but once somebody starts fighting a war where you live, you take refuge where you can, and get traumatised on the way there, which doesn't bring out the best in people.
