It appears the women has severe emotional issues, so making fun of her is like laughing at a sick person for being ill. Or do you think poking fun at those less fortunate than yourself is a good idea?

It looked to me that the woman was trying to fake having severe emotional issues to avoid a traffic ticket.

No need to read the story, the video tells it all.

I especially like how the officer tried to cut her a break but she refused and will probably end up with points on her license.

Then she tries to flim flam him into forgetting what the stop was for, and then "doesn't feel safe".

Privilege doesn't always get you out of a ticket, not even in NY NY. There's hope for the country yet.

Looks more like "I shouldn't get a ticket because I'm important".

On the other hand, if you're right, she shouldn't be in a position of political power, should she?

You're the _sick_ person. You should learn to read. She feigned...

But then you're a leftist with minimal cognitive facilities. ...Jim Thompson

Mentally ill people need help, and they should either be actively seeking help or their friends should be looking out for them.

What I heard was a woman who is in way over her head and needs a whole lot of help.

Didn't want to raise the point about being in political power or not when mentally challenged or a LOT of people would have to give up their positions. Starting with ...

The good news is that while many users of this NG have actual severe emotional issues, they'll never have to employ them to get out of a traffic ticket because AFAIK Rascal scooters top out around 12-15 mph.

Or in the position of a parent. If Robertson is right, those children of hers should be taken away for their own safety.

Trump is. And he's got severe emotional issues - about more people going to see Obama's inauguration than his, for example.

John Larkin can't distinguish between smug and CO2 - to him both are substances that other people believe in.

If you get stuck behind one of these ludicrous contraptions that's broken down, the best you can hope for is a passing garbage truck will tow the infernal thing away. >:->

The Prius is a hybrid. It depends on a small petrol-fueled engine which runs continuously at the point where it burns gasoline most efficiently to keep the batter charged.

The later models can be used as purely electric cars, but the range is very limited - less than 40 miles. Since hybrid operation is economical the range per tank of gasoline is rather longer.

In much off the US, the solid line only applies to not passing another MOVI NG vehicle. That doesn't change the fact that I knew someone who got a tick et when the other vehicle was not moving.

People simply do not know their way around the court system. For one, if yo u do not have a valid license there are any things they cannot make stick b ecause a driver's license is a contract. Now tthe DUI and DUS stick, but th ings like seat belts ad such are routinely thrown out of court. And in Ohio , you can fight a speeding ticket even if legal by calling for the data fro m a traffic survey that made it a lower speed limit. This is an anti-speed trap law in Ohio, and in that case you are accusing them. That is the best way to handle these things if possible.
