I see it right at the meeting of WV, KY and OH. Too close to Cincinnati if it's within 100mi! I think the problem is the Ohio River. Is there anyplace along the Ohio River that's not an unholy disaster these days?

What does "Too close to Cincinnati" mean? Cincinnati is a dump.
The Ohio River hasn't been a significant problem since before I was born. Huntington's lower elevations (mostly the downtown area) were flooded in 1939. So they built a series of levees with drop-in flood gates and haven't been flooded since. (Also a series of dams/locks were added on the Ohio... Greenup being the most significant... lost a full steam locomotive into the river while building that :-)
Then there's New Jersey which has severe flooding annually, but does nothing about it but whine ;-) ...Jim Thompson
