If it works with the normal BluRay sources, someone will be hearing from lawyers.

HDMI includes HDCP high definition copy protection features, that will negotiate an end-to-end encryption with one, and only one, TV. So, the only compliant 'splitter' is a licensed product that decrypts input, and reencrypts for two outputs, on the fly. The easy-to-find splitters aren't that smart, so they will only sometimes work.

Analog (VGA) is do-able, DisplayPort and even DVI sometimes supports HDCP (but is not required to).
