Hmm maybe not strong enough.

I wonder why not just order a bigger hunk of neodymium magnet.

We do put these ~1" pieces together and I've given myself little blood blister pinches.

I love me some physics.I *think* I grok the explanation of circumferentia l pressure differentials along the periphery of the dye disk after collisio n generating the secondary vortices. I can't grasp what generates the press ure differentials but I see how that would generate the vortices.

But what causes the ripples in the inner stationary disk of dye after col lision? It reminds me of an old vinyl record left in the sun. If it's press ure differentials they're along the line of travel of the original vortices , but the ripples seem to line up with the secondary vortices so both pheno mena have to be related, right?
