looking for Diode Nuts

Hi All,

I think I have a diffuclt request. I am looking for the nuts (14pcs) that suit the Vishay (formerly International Rectifier) diode set.

Data sheet of diode set

Picture of nuts can be seen here

hex of nut is 8mm total length including head is 14 mm .

Any pointers where I might get them would be appreciated.

How close does it have to be? The data sheet says 1/4-20 thread, you should be able to get those most any place (in north America, anyway) with various head styles. A socket-head cap screw with a washer under it would probably be a good replacement if you can't find a screw that short.

Those are machine screws, not nuts. And a glance at the data sheet reveals that they're 1/4-20 which is an exceedingly common US screw thread.

It happens that Joey.G formulated :

Calling them "NUTS" will not get you any and using millimetres wont help as they are 1/4 inch -20 UNC hex head cap SCREWS.

GOOGLE is your friend. Or a specialist fastener house in Australia.

... but calling them "screws" might get you something completely unexpected:
