Log sweeping a current with SPICE.

See

t is not the same as sweeping a source. For that he wants. .dc dec I1 100p

100m 10 which DC sweeps current I1 logarithmically from 100pA to 100mA with 10 steps per decade. This generates a single curve. Your ridiculous comman d would produce a gazillion curves.

Almost as useless as this one, which at least illustrates difference in use of sweep and step.

Must be no temp dependence in the NPX 2n3904 model because it doesn't budge . Technically you just add and select I1/Ib(Q1)-1 in Visible Traces box. The heap of junk doesn't respond to the plot directive. Heck it doesn't even ge t the horizontal scale right half the time, tries to take log of 0. Then it intermittently hangs during the simulation but runs fine other times. Dunn o who uses this program.

Yes, or even Schottky, bias from the + supply, add a bypass cap. Can you live with imperfect logic levels?

I want to clear a Tiny Logic flipflop ASAP when two timing channels are both done. If it's powered from +4, I'd like to pull down its clear pin to, say, 1 volt or less. Adding a silicon diode to the SAV source is safe there, but it's still a little scary as regards getting a clean NAND function. Looks like the critical g-s voltage threshold will be +0.25 volts (it's an enhancement phemt) but I don't know if I can trust that in production.

Too bad I can't buy a 0.75 volt bandgap. I can get 1.00 volts, which would probably be safe.

SAV551 would make an impressive diode!
