Embarcadero are offering free licences to their C++ Builder starter addition until the end of the week (it has a clang based compiler with full C++11 support).
And they are currently offering a free license to the Delphi Berlin Starter Edition
I just recently discovered Free Pascal and the Lazarus IDE. I have been able to convert several Delphi projects and successfully built them with Lazarus. There has been considerable discussion of Embarcadero's free offering on their forum, but mostly thumbs down due to various limitations:

Do they also say thumbs down to spammers like JM?
The starter editions only produce 32 bit executables, and if used to develop commercial software you are expected to purchase a pro edition once income from software developed using it exceeds $1500.
The free pascal compiler does now seem to be pretty stable.
Well, this group does seem to attract a number of ass-wipes.
I have nothing against most of your posts - but some of them look a great deal like pure spam for commercial products. There have been a very similar adverts in various groups recently. But perhaps you are just a happy user trying to pass on a tip to a useful program, and it's just unlucky that it looks like spam. If so, I apologise - but I recommend you are a little more careful about how you formulate such tips in the future.
