Electrical musings

I used to hate aluminum wires when it comes to soldering.

I have had a change of heart.

Solid coppers wires break as often as taxes go up.

With stranded aluminum wires, you may lose a few, but you can still solder.

For years, I have been looking for something to increase "the mating of wire and solder."

I decided to try solder flux which is used for copper pipes.

What a difference. :-)

How do you solder (either metal with either flux) without the wire turning to crud after a few months/years?
