Do Opto-isolators degrade with time?

Can you use the type that uses a photodiode detector and TIA buffer internally instead of just a darlington phototransistor? Like the Toshiba TLP series? They're not that much more expensive in quantity, like 50 cents vs. 35.

Essentially a MagicShine knock-off. It has an efficient switch-mode converter inside so the brightness stays the same as the Li-Ion battery voltage drops. On both bikes I added this lense before even riding one mile with the lights:

Reduces blinding effects for oncoming traffic and also provides a nice wide beam horizontally.

The rear lights are partly home-made, you can't buy much good stuff there for bicycles.

Be advised that the driving LED degrades; doping diffusion from heat during use.

Indeed Overall Quantum efficiency of III V materials decrease with temp and ageing. What is the question precisely ?

Does Maynard Philbrook (aka Jamie) suck dick? Does he encourage grossly fat women? Does he have a fat mother, sister, daughter that he is proud of?

Choose your enemies wisely, Mayonnaise Philpot.

Wisdom is not something that Jamie is known for. He's more or less cornered the local market for foolishness, and it's a competitive market, but wisdo m is in shorter supply and Jamie doesn't seem to have any in stock, or any history of ever having had any to offer.

He thinks that his dangerous delusions about vaccination are worth displayi ng, but only an idiot would buy into them.

Gee slow-Man, you didn't need to read Johs S post to know what he said, all you had to do was roll over and wake him up to ask him what he said!

I could wonder why Jamie thinks that but he gets so much other stuff so equ ally totally wrong that it isn't really worth asking the question.

Agreed. But he must be very familiar with the roll over trick, don't you think?

equally totally wrong that it isn't really worth asking the question.

It's not an image that would have come to my mind. My wife doesn't apprecia te getting woken up to answer questions, or getting woken up for any reason at all.

Jamie is probably dumb enough to ignore that kind of reaction.
