What's up with avrfreaks.net, the site is down down quite often.

Some time when it's up, wget the whole site and save it to disk. I don't know if there's an equivalent to wget in Windows, but it could be done by hand. You could write a cron job to periodically check the site for new posts, and rsync the updated page(s).

Why not? It's just HTML. The fact that there are new posts is covered by rsync or httrack, as mentioned by JeffM.
