Microchip part identification.

This is a part I've asked about before, but got the number wrong - having found another and used a better magnifier I found that I'd mistook an E for a 1

The first chip was found on a Toshiba laptop display panel

/\\540 575E

The second was found on a Toshiba laptop audio board

/\\524 575C

Both devices are 4 pin and about 4.54 x 3.11mm.

TIA.

Hello. You didnt tell package type. A bit down at this page there are links to diff. Toshiba pages. (Electic Components)

Hope you can find out there, if you dont get any spec. answer.

I don't know the package type, that's why I described how many pins and gave its measurements.

Its not a Toshiba part - I put in the subject line its a Microchip part.

/\\ was the nearest ASCII representation I could make of the Microchip stylised "M" trademark clearly stamped on the package - as shown with the part number markings shown below.

A little mistake by me. Micro-chip or manufacurer Microchip.

And you are sure its Microchip and not Motorola logo?

Microchip has its line of packages here, and I can only find one with 4 pins (SOT-143 on page31), if its surface mount. Or is another type ?

Best would be a picture/photo of them and uploaded for ex. to this site and then tell us the adress.

It can be an obsolete component, and hard to find at Microchip homepage.

Thanks for the package info.

The nearest to the correct size would be a 4 pin version of the SOT-89, the leads are "L" style SMD not "J" lead or flat leadframe like the SOT-89.
