Here's one from left field. Does anyone know for certain whether the Russian mains supply is 50 Hz or 60 Hz (info needed for a novel)
Moscow area is 50hz - 220v. (I assume its the same in other regions)
Most of the sockets are "shuko" types now, but there are still plenty of soviet 2 pin units around.
