Huawei demos LTE-Advanced at 1.2Gbps

Huawei has demonstrated what it says is the world's fastest LTE-Advanced downlink speeds at the CTIA Wireless show in Las Vegas

The Chinese based firm was able to hit a record 1.2Gbps download speed on its demo using one of its SingleRAN prototype LTE-Advanced devices with an 80MHz multi-carrier wideband radio, featuring carrier aggregation, 4x4 multi-input multi-output, coordinated multipoint transmission and relay.
