Help required - Connecting LCD TV to Foxtel, VCR, DVD, AV Transmitter etc.

My friend has just bought an LCD TV with a built in STB Digital tuner. She's also got Foxtel, a DVD player, a VCR, an AV transmitter to send the Foxtel to other rooms etc. The etc. includes a Stereo, Tuner, Casette Player, Record Player etc. but they're not important right now.

What is important is that she wants me to connect all the AV devices for her.

So apart from a powerboard, what else do I need? Most of these devices go into the TV's AV1 or S-Video so I'll probably need an AV Selector unit to plug them all into then choose which one to use as required? Do they make S-Video selector units? And what is Composite Video?

Has anyone got a similar setup with so many devices and, if so, how have you connected them all? Any help appreciated.

'Onya.

typically a yellow RCA socket, functionally much like S-Video but slightly lower quality image.

AV selectors with remote control are available, go see a home cinema specialist for ideas.
