bluetooth 1.1 and 2

if i have a phone with bluetooth 2, will it work with a bluetooth handsfree device with bluetooth 1.1?

It's a lucky dip, sometimes yes, sometimes no! The best bet is to use 1.1 with 1.1or 2 with 2.
