Pretty much what I expected.
It's a single purpose device best kept as simple as possible for reliability, battery life etc. That whole FDR is pretty old school though.
The commentary nearly sent me to sleep, no chance of that when Dave is talking (whether he's annoying or not is subjective, but Dave is never boring).
Currently out there and as a link off one of the endless MH370 articles is an article on FDR's and the origin, current and future activities.
Apz, but unale to relocate it again.
